Monterey Skates is almost fully staffed, but we’re looking for outgoing, energetic, and customer-focused team members to help create a fun, safe, and welcoming experience for our community!

- Part-Time Skating Floor Guards (ages 16+)
- Part-Time Roller Skating DJs (ages 16+)
About You:
We’re looking for individuals who are:
- Friendly, outgoing, and love working with people of all ages (especially kids)
- Customer-driven with a positive attitude and professional demeanor
- Reliable, responsible, and ready to show up on time and work hard
- Natural problem-solvers who stay calm under pressure
- Team players who thrive in a fast-paced, energetic environment
- Comfortable learning new tasks (we’ll train you!)
- Interested in creating a clean, safe, and family-friendly atmosphere
Preferred but Not Required:
- Experience in customer service, retail, food service, or working with children (preference given to those with summer camp experience)
- Roller skating skills (bonus points, but not necessary—we’ll teach you the basics if you’re willing to learn!)
Responsibilities May Include:
- Greeting guests and assisting with check-in and skate rentals
- Running birthday parties and group events
- Supervising the skating floor and ensuring safety rules are followed
- Managing snack bar and merchandise sales
- Keeping the facility clean, welcoming, and fun
- DJing—building playlists and programming light shows
