Our goal is to create a safe, inclusive, and fun experience for everyone! These rules apply to all skating sessions. They’re designed to make sure everyone—from first-time skaters to seasoned pros—feels welcome and stays safe.
âś… SKATING RULES
- Skaters only on the floor—no shoes or walking. This keeps the flow of movement safe and avoids collisions between skaters and non-skaters.
- No fast, reckless, unsafe skating or tag, pushing, or weaving. Skating should be fun—not dangerous. These rules help prevent injuries and keep the rink safe for all skill levels.
- No headphones or earbuds while skating. You need to hear announcements, music cues, and other skaters around you to stay aware and safe.
- No carrying others while on skates. If you fall while carrying someone, both of you could get seriously injured.
- Rental skates require socks. No bare feet. Socks are available for purchase. It helps protect your feet and keeps our rental skates clean and hygienic for everyone.
- Skates must be rink-safe (ask staff if unsure). This prevents damage to the rink floor and ensures your skates won’t pose a danger to you or others.
- Only staff or invited DJs are allowed behind the DJ booth. This prevents accidents and keeps our music equipment safe and functioning.
🍹 FOOD & DRINK
- No outside food or drinks except water bottles. Outside food can cause messes and allergy risks.
- Keep all food and drinks in the seating area. Keeping food in certain areas helps keep the floor clean and safe for skating.
- No gum, food, or drinks on the rink. If you’ve ever skated over gum, you’ll understand this rule…
🎒 BAGS & BELONGINGS
- No backpacks, purses, or bags while skating. Loose items on the floor create tripping hazards and block emergency exits.
- We are not responsible for lost or stolen items. Baskets are available for rental. We encourage you to store your things safely during your session.
đź‘• DRESS CODE
- Be neat, clean, and respectful. A comfortable and respectful dress code helps maintain a welcoming environment for all guests.
- No clothing with offensive language or imagery. We want the rink to be a positive space for families and people of all ages.
- No hoodies worn over the head while skating. Hoodies can block your vision and make it harder for others (and our staff) to recognize you quickly in case of an emergency.
🎟️ GENERAL CONDUCT
- Parents and/or guardians are welcome to observe their children during all kids and family skates.
- During evening sessions (Friday and Saturday at 8pm and Sunday at 7pm), all customers must purchase admission whether they are skating or not.
- No foul language or disruptive behavior. We want everyone to feel comfortable, safe, and respected at the rink.
- No loitering or in-and-out privileges. When you leave the rink, please head directly to Gate 5. The rest of the fairgrounds is off-limits to the public (there may even be other events taking place). This ensures everyone’s safety, helps us manage capacity, and respects our agreement with the Fairgrounds.
- Management reserves the right to refuse service or remove guests who do not follow the rules.
