We’re still buzzing from this weekend’s soft launch, and we just want to say… **thank you!**Whether you came for the early family skate or showed up to show off your moves during adult night, you helped make it unforgettable.
From 4–7pm, we welcomed so many families—seeing kids and parents skating together was a beautiful reminder of why Monterey Skates exists. And at 7pm, the lights went down, the energy went up, and the adult sessiontook off with incredible vibes and some seriously impressive footwork. Huge thanks to KSBWfor featuring us live during the 6pm news and to Monterey County Now for their article about the rink—we’re honored to represent the community!

We’re moving the benches backto give skaters more room to glide.
Working with the Fairgrounds on installing a bottle refill station—and yes, for our grand opening we hope to sell refillable branded water bottles!

Rental Skates Are on the Way
They’re still being built, but we got a sneak peek from the factory in China—and the light blue boots with black accentsare looking amazing. We’ll keep you posted when they arrive!
