Community & non-profit events

Skating events that build community — and raise real money.

For churches, HOAs, non-profits, community groups, and cultural celebrations across the Monterey Peninsula.

Why community events work

Community organizations use skating events to do five things well.

  • Activate the community. A single evening that gets everyone in the same room doing the same thing — harder than it sounds, especially for spread-out congregations and HOAs.
  • Fundraise for real causes. Skating nights raise real money. Ticket sales, snack bar, silent auction alongside — the format supports several revenue paths at once.
  • Reward volunteers. Say thank you with something memorable, not another gift card.
  • Serve underserved communities. Skating is often inaccessible to families with limited resources. Bringing it to a community center or church parking lot changes that.
  • Celebrate culturally. Quinceañeras, Lunar New Year, Diwali, Juneteenth, Pride — skating fits alongside almost any celebration.

Our commitment

Discounted rates for 501(c)(3)s. Revenue-share on fundraisers.

We’re part of this community too — and we’d rather price events so they actually happen than protect margins that leave the room empty.

501(c)(3) non-profit rate

Registered non-profits get a discounted rate on any event booked in your organization’s name. Ask us about it when you inquire — we’ll want your EIN and a quick confirmation of your status.

Fundraiser revenue-share

For fundraiser events, we can structure the arrangement so a percentage of ticket revenue goes directly to your cause. You promote, we handle execution, and your books look good at the end.

Flexible church, HOA, and community-group packages

For churches, HOAs, and community groups on typical community-organization budgets, we offer flexible packages — smaller events, shorter durations, weekday scheduling — that fit the reality of how community events get funded.

Cultural celebration collaboration

For cultural events, we build the setlist and the room around your celebration — music, hosting language, cultural touches. Not a corporate polish on top of your event; a genuine collaboration underneath it.

Community event formats

A few shapes we’ve done that work.

Church family night Fellowship hall, 2–3 hours, all ages, radio-edit music, snack bar coordination with the parish kitchen.
HOA community skate Clubhouse or parking lot, 2 hours, neighborhood-only or open. Great for spring or fall block-party season.
Non-profit fundraiser 3–4 hours open community skate with revenue share on tickets. Silent auction or raffle works alongside.
Cultural celebration Custom setlist and hosting for Quinceañeras, Lunar New Year, Diwali, Juneteenth, Pride, and other cultural events.

How to get started.

For community events specifically, the fastest path is a conversation. Call or email us with the shape of your event and your rough budget — we’ll come back with a proposal that fits what your organization can actually spend, not a boilerplate quote.
