Cancellation Policy
Life happens, plans change. Here’s how it works when it does — and how to reach us fast if you need to.
How to cancel or reschedule
The fastest path is to call us at (831) 855-2758 so we can talk through the specifics. You can also send a message, and we’ll reply within one business day. Please cancel or reschedule as early as you can — earlier notice gives us the best chance of putting your date to good use for another event, which is what enables us to be flexible on refunds and credits.
If you cancel
The refund of any paid balance follows the schedule below. In every case, your deposit converts to a reschedule credit valid for 12 months rather than being lost outright.
- More than 30 days before the event. Any paid balance is refunded in full. Your deposit becomes a reschedule credit good for 12 months.
- 15 to 29 days before the event. Half of the paid balance is refunded. Your deposit plus the remaining half becomes a reschedule credit good for 12 months.
- Less than 15 days before the event. No cash refund. The full amount you’ve paid becomes a reschedule credit good for 12 months.
The tighter windows reflect real costs: we’ve already reserved staff time, held equipment out of other bookings, and turned down conflicting inquiries.
If you reschedule (rather than cancel outright)
Rescheduling more than 30 days out, to any date we have available within 12 months, is free. Rescheduling inside 30 days may incur a partial rebooking fee to cover the coordination work — we’ll walk you through it when you call.
If our next available date doesn’t work for you, we’ll extend the reschedule credit rather than let it expire. Just tell us.
If we have to cancel
We take our commitments seriously and cancellations from our side are rare. If it happens for a reason within our control (an equipment failure, staff illness we can’t cover, a scheduling error on our end), you get a full refund of everything you’ve paid, deposit included, plus a good-faith credit toward a future event.
Weather, venue, and force majeure
If safety or venue conditions make your event impossible — severe weather at the venue, a venue closure, power loss, an evacuation order, or a public-health directive — we always try to reschedule first, at no additional cost, to a mutually workable date within 12 months.
If rescheduling truly isn’t possible, refund handling follows the Refund Policy.
Because we’re a mobile operation, weather severe enough to force a cancellation is usually obvious to both of us. We keep an eye on the forecast and reach out proactively if we’re worried about the day of your event.
Deposits and reschedule credits — the short version
- Deposits are non-refundable but always convert to reschedule credit when you cancel — you don’t lose them
- Reschedule credits are valid for 12 months from the original event date
- Credits are transferable to another event you organize — a birthday can become a school fundraiser
- If 12 months isn’t enough time in your situation, tell us — we handle extensions case by case
Questions
The fastest way to get an answer is to call us at (831) 855-2758. We’re a small local business and would rather work through unusual situations by talking than by policy language.
