Why schools book us

Schools are one of our favorite partners.

Skating is one of the most physically engaged activities a school can offer. Every student is moving, everyone’s learning something new, and no one is on their phone. It works for the anxious kid who’s never done a school dance, the athlete who wants a challenge, and the tired PE teacher who needs a Friday off from planning.

We work with public schools, private schools, homeschool co-ops, and after-school programs across the Peninsula.

School dances

Middle school and high school dances become memorable when the whole gym is a rink. Way more engaging than a traditional DJ-only dance.

Field trips

We come to you instead of a bus ride somewhere. Great for PE tie-ins, science-of-motion learning, or an end-of-year reward.

PE alternatives

A refreshing change from traditional PE. Skating teaches balance, coordination, cardiovascular fitness, and confidence.

Fundraisers

Skating nights are among the highest-engagement fundraisers a PTA or student council can run. Revenue-share arrangements available.

Working with a school district

What we handle so you don’t have to.

  • Certificate of Insurance with the district or school named as additional insured
  • Clean and radio-edit-only music playlists for K–12 events
  • Age-appropriate lighting — nothing too club-like for younger events
  • Coordination with your ASB, PTA, or event coordinator
  • District vendor onboarding as needed (LiveScan, TB tests, W-9, whatever’s required)
  • Setup and tear-down that leaves the gym exactly as we found it

How fundraiser events work.

For school fundraisers, we offer revenue-share arrangements so the event pays for itself and then some:

  1. You promote the event to your school community
  2. We handle the event execution — skating, DJ, all equipment
  3. Attendees pay a per-person admission or families pay a flat rate
  4. A percentage of the event revenue goes to your school

Types of events.

Elementary PE 45–60 minute sessions with beginner-friendly instruction built in. Ideal as a PE unit or a special-day activity.
Middle school dance 2–3 hours in the gym. Clean radio-edit playlists, glow-stick vibes, chaperone-friendly lighting.
High school event 3–4 hours. Bigger sound, longer DJ set, extended floor coverage. Great for homecoming, prom after-parties, and grad nights.
Fundraiser night 3–4 hours as an open community skate with revenue share. Families welcome, siblings encouraged.
