Happy Holidays from Monterey Skates!
As the year comes to a close, we want to take a moment to say thank youto our incredible skating community. Seeing so many familiar and new faces at the rink has made this first season truly special.
We’re thrilled with the launch of Monterey Skates, which began with a soft opening in Mayand officially rolled into our grand opening in June. From June through October, we hosted one skating weekend per month, and due to the amazing response, we were excited to ramp things up to two weekends per month in November and December.
In just our first season, we welcomed over 2,500 skaters, and we’re incredibly grateful for the opportunity to help revive and support the local roller skating community. Your enthusiasm, encouragement, and love of skating are what make this place feel alive.
Through our Saturday skating lessons for kidsand Sunday lessons for adults, we hope to inspire new skaters of all ages—and support those who choose an active, joyful lifestyle. There are so many ways to spend a weekend, but we can’t imagine a better way to connect, socialize, and share a few laughs than skating together.
